PatchPals was proud to represent Georgia Tech at the 2025 ACC InVenture Prize Competition at the University of Notre Dame, a prestigious innovation competition featuring top student-led startups from across the Atlantic Coast Conference. Competing among the best and brightest, we showcased our automated wound care solution aimed at transforming Negative Pressure Wound Therapy.

PatchPals was featured in Forbes Magazine as part of a spotlight on Georgia Tech’s AI-driven student innovation. The article highlighted how we used the university’s AI Makerspace to accelerate development of our automated wound care system. With access to high-performance computing, we successfully trained our image segmentation model for precise foam cutting—streamlining Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and reducing clinical workload.
